Invisalign Straight Teeth

Improve your look with Invisalign, a totally invisible straightening option

Invisalign involves wearing a series of clear aligners which slowly but surely straighten and align your teeth. Getting a great smile without wearing braces has never been easier!

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign utilises a range of clear removable aligners that gradually shift your teeth into the correct position by using mild pressure. This method removes the need for traditional brackets or metal wires like you see in braces. Each aligner will need be worn for two weeks.

Types of Invisalign

  • Full Invisalign: This option is for patients that need major orthodontic work. Results are seen quicker with this method however, treatment takes between 12 and 24 months.
  • Invisalign Teen: This special version of aligners are targeted at teenagers so they won’t feel self-conscious about having orthodontic treatment.
  • Invisalign Lite: This treatment is targeted at patients that only need minor adjustments usually only affecting the front six teeth and the results of the treatment can be seen in 6 months.
  • Invisalign i7: This fast treatment shows results in as little as 3 months.

 Benefits of Invisalign

Invisalign has many benefits: The aligners used are nearly completely invisible, which will allow the straightening of your teeth without all your friends knowing.
The aligners can be removed, so you can eat and you can also floss and brush your teeth normally.

An extra special benefit of Invisalign is that you are able to see what your teeth will look like at the end of treatment before you even start – a computer generated plan of your teeth is created by Invisalign before we confirm treatment.

Invisalign aligners are comfortable to wear because they are custom made to fit your mouth and there are no metal wires or brackets like you find in traditional braces. Mouth irritation and oral sores will be significantly reduced compared to braces. This means you will spend less seat time in dental chair.

Aligners are made of a clear strong plastic which is almost impossible to see when worn. They look very similar to tooth whitening trays but fit very snuggly to your teeth.
